The Chatsford Retirement Village general manager came to us with a vision of building a web platform that would enable transparency across the village, through tracking maintenance jobs logged by residents, communicate menus for the week, activities and announcements.
The process of distributing paper-based information and calling the office for maintenance requests was time consuming, and Chatsford wanted to go digital. One of the key requirements for the solution was to build a simple interface that was easy to use and understand for the elderly living in the village.
We developed a web application that allows residents to view upcoming activities and menus, submit maintenance requests, and make complaints.
Managers at Chatsford have the ability to receive and respond to maintenance requests, assign and track jobs, post activities, menus and announcements.
The platform has drastically helped the management team deal with the maintenance jobs that need to be completed at the village. It has also given the residents the information they without having to leave their house during the pandemic.
